Odin, All-Father of the realms, commanded the dwarves to create the most powerful weapon.
From fire, metal, and ancient magic they created a war hammer of immense power.
Mjolnir.
Enchanted to serve only the most worthy.
Odin entrusted the hammer to his son, charging him with the protection of the realms.
For many years, the hammer was wielded with honour, and balance was kept.
But pride is a quiet poison…
In a moment of anger and selfish intent, the son reached for Mjolnir once more and the hammer refused his call. In that instant, he was judged unworthy.
Fearing the destruction such power could bring if claimed by the wrong hands, Odin removed the hammer from the realms of gods and men alike.
Sealed away in a place no one would ever think to look…
